  • What is the problem with modern day relationships? Ft Olivia Towers
    Jan 13 2021

Something seems to be wrong with a lot of modern day relationships. Divorce rates are increasing, partners cheating with other people. Children growing up fatherless is at an all time high. Domestic violence is also on the rise. Pornography consumption is at an all time high even with children as young as 8. The odds seem to be stacked against people. Or is it that because things are different in todays age like sex before any commitment before marriage? Is it because social media lures people to desire someone or something they don't currently have?

In this episode we discuss some of these points. Olivia Towers is my guest on this episode. Olivia is currently single and actively dating. We are also coming from my perspective of 9 years of marriage and Olivia's perspective of she is actively dating. Hopefully you all find this useful and thought provoking. This again is just our perspective. We have also added some key tips at the end.

Please share this with someone who needs this.

If you would like a more in depth part two please feel free to let us know. Thank you.

  • Episode 3: How your life story makes you the way you are today.
    Dec 16 2020

In this episode we discuss how your story can have an impact on your character, values and choices in life.

Often we don't ask the question, why do we look at things the way we do? until life forces us to. But why wait?

Myself and Wesley Thomas discuss how growing up in a single parent house hold impacted us.

We talk about strengths and weaknesses gained from growing up in that type of household. We also discuss the strength women have to tap into when they need it. This is possibly the most personal we have gone.

For the first time we both talk about life experiences that had the deepest impact on our worldview and character. Hopefully you like what you hear and it also provokes you to ask questions about your own experiences.

The goal is to hear different perspectives on these topics so we can gain further insight and take some tips, tricks and hacks to help us squeeze the most juice out of life. I’m your host Theo Thompson and my guest today is Wesley Thomas.    Todays discussion will be, do you have real friends?   In an age where the average person has 500 on social media friends and followers do we really understand what a healthy friendship looks like? Especially today with Covid 19 when most people have spent months in isolation. This is the time when we all need at least one good friendship. But do you think some people put up with bad friendships because they have a need to belong. Maybe a bad friendship gives them the sence of belonging they need? So in this episode i thought it would be good to discuss what a healthy friendship looks like from our perspective.   Some of the keys to good friendship discussed.
    1. You tell them bad news and they listen.
    2. You tell them good news and they celebrate as if it is their win
    3. A real friend will challenge you and when needed cause conflict and tell you the things you need to hear.
    4. Give rather then just take
    5. Workplace friend
