Ari is a mother of nine children and former Division I athlete at Southern Utah University where she ran mid-distance and sprints for the Thunderbirds. Following her collegiate career and after becoming a mother, Brown discovered a love for long-distance running and has since run countless marathons, half marathons and ultra races. She runs to stay fit and healthy, both physically and mentally.
