    I will be looking forward to interviewing Dr. Beth Ballinger. The emphasis of the show will be on behavioral vision. Dr. Ballinger has a tremendous behavioral optometric practice in Newport Beach, California. In addition to working with patients who have blurred vision or eye disease, Dr. Ballinger works with kids and adults with learning challenges. She also works with infants who have developmental problems. In addition, she works with and helps treat patients who have autism, Down's Syndrome and a host of other neurological problems. We will be discussing her examination and treatment of these patients. I've known Dr. Ballinger for over 30 years. Her compassion and love for optometry and the patients she works with is second to none. Her warmth and love for the profession, I'm sure, will come through during the interview.

Ketchum University in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Franklin Lusby is a board certified ophthalmologist out of Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Sendrowski will be discussing the effects of viruses on the eye. Included in this is a timely discussion of measles and its effect on the eye. Shingles and Herpes will also be covered. Dr. Lusby will be discussing refractive surgery. He will go over which patients are good candidates for surgery and which ones are not. He will describe the various technologies available and how they differ from those offered almost 20 years ago.
