  • Intention
    Feb 29 2024

Welcome to We Are Well Women Podcast version 2.

I'm Jodie and feel very honoured to have the opportunity to rebirth this podcast that was originally (version 1.) created by Kim Sexty and myself.

As we did in version 1, I too wanted to open up with my intention for this WELL ness space and my BIG why.

When thinking of 'The Well'- I like to believe this would be one of the informal places historically where ALL women no matter what identity embodied would gather to collect water, nourishment, share stories, practices and wisdom.

The well also symbolising a circle,

A return back home, to self, to the heart.

And Water also symbolising femininity and flow.

And therefore may this podcast serve as your well, a sense of returning back to home/self, returning back to heart space and reminding you of your wholeness.

Let this space be an opportunity to hear lived wisdom from other women that serve as mirror reflections of you and allow you by listening to return back to yourself from the space from your living room, on your walks, wherever you are, having wisdom whispered in your ear, for you even to just closing your eyes and know that you are held and are never alone.

And know you are surrounded by women who all walk beside you, have walked before you, and before them for generations.
You have all this generational wisdom within you, always.

    As we are well women.

    Welcome to the well.
