    Susanne Gold-Smith is a mother, creative, advocate, and survivor from New York. Her ability to transcend tragedy and prevail after heartache are defining characteristics apparent in each of her endeavors. However, her personal journey took a dark turn after she was allegedly stalked and sexually assaulted by a private investigator hired by her then-estranged husband’s legal team. The event would launch her down a precarious legal path and an onslaught of efforts to seek justice. All that continues to come next in Susanne’s battle is a testament not only to her personal strength, but also to what the criminal justice system requires of victims. The Broken Cycle Media team is extremely grateful for her time, energy, and the advocacy she is curating by sharing and bringing awareness today.

His words and efforts have been seen everywhere from TIME magazine to the TED Talk stage; he has entitled his experiences of sexual abuse and trafficking “An Athlete’s Silence.” By sharing his story on What Came Next Episode 22 entitled An Athlete’s Silence and elsewhere, his goal is to bring awareness to predatory practices in the athletic and education worlds, as well as to change the way society receives sexual abuse victims. I am so honored he joined me AGAIN today to discuss updates in his journey. He also had the beautiful idea of flipping the script and host-swapping with Amy B.
