Where We're At - A Roadmap for Life in the Middle

De: Lana Ogilvie and Rebecca Rankin
  • Resumen

  • Where We’re At looks at life now and where we want to go with humorous, connection filled conversations, around key actionable steps to put in place in your 50’s and 60’s to create the life we all want.

Let's dive deep outside our comfort zones as we navigate this second half of life with meaning, fun (laughter) and a solid dose of reality, as we take stock of the liminal space that appears in our fifties.

The show is hosted by Lana Ogilvie and Rebecca Rankin who have a combined five decades of expertise in media, fashion, parenting, entertainment, beauty, wellness, social work and social justice.

The pair use their own journeys, experiences, and what they learn from experts and friends, as a vehicle to explore a range of topics that crop-up or need to be reevaluated in mid-life. The series is designed as a road-map, with key takeaways in every episode to navigate stops along the way, from relationships, to finances, to physical and mental health, to caring for adult children and parents, to the fun stuff like sex and the importance of incorporating ‘shots of awe’ into your life.

    Jul 5 2024

It’s a crazy world but we’re all living in it and making time for play has never been so important to our well being as it is in these middle years. Aurélie shares her journey of starting her coaching and consulting company and how she observed division and labels in society. She emphasizes the power of play in bringing joy and reclaiming agency in life. She encourages individuals to step out of societal expectations and explore the possibilities. She also highlights the value of building relationships and exploring different roles and identities. Aurélie encourages listeners to expand their definition of play and find joy in the messy middle of life.
