Today I chat to Teacher and Author, Katie Pratley. Katie walked out of teaching on her third day back after MAT leave having had a complete rethink of what education was doing to our children. Having her own child, healing her own past trauma and retraining helped Katie to see what seemed normal, was anything but.

Katie has an excellent book out which I highly recommend for parents of teenagers to get for their teens, or for teens to buy for themselves. It's a brilliant guide to thinking limitlessly and helping them to ensure they don't become trapped in a life they don't align to.

Today's conversation with Sandie was fascinating! Sandie has never done anything the traditional way, leading to others misunderstanding who she is and what she is about. Sandie retreated to the Arctic Circle to recover from a break-up, had a wild ride through various jobs (just wait till you hear about how she decided what jobs to go for!) and then lost her Dad....that was the end of one chapter and the start of another, really beautiful one.
