Story
"No matter! Her blood is white!" Red Jacket seethed. He went to the fire and tried to kick the dirt to douse it, a signal that the council was over. Jones grabbed him and pulled him back. "But the blood she has shed in bearing her children is Seneca. The blood of her husband when wounded in battle is Seneca. This deed is not given by the Seneca. It is the white nation who owns rights to this land now. They are giving back to a Seneca by giving it to Mrs. Jemison. For this, Red Jacket, you should be glad.

Story
A Facebook connection brings two people together for a journey neither is sure they want to take. Divorce? Dealing with narcissistic personality disorder? Mormon versus Catholic beliefs? When they meet, they know their souls have waited lifetimes, but the entanglements of marriage and biases, coupled with the politics in America, make falling in love easy, but staying in love a challenge.

Story
To begin healing, get away. There should be no contact with the narcissist. None. No acknowledgment and no engagement. Don't fall victim to your sympathy and don't tell yourself he or she will, or has, changed. When your kids exhibit any signs of the parent's behavior, change that behavior immediately, and if they're old enough, explain why. When you get triggered, i.e., memories or words that make you believe you should go back, learn to take the time and space, even if only a minute, to reflect on all the reasons you left.

Story
I came onto the Internet a novice and got involved with social media in an effort to stay connected to the kids in my life. I had to learn the hard way that not everything on the Internet is true, much is plagiarized, and a lot can just disappear at a moment's notice. I was never put in Facebook Prison, but I know many who were. Most of them were just posting or reposting articles that were not favorable to Obama or Hillary. I learned what my purpose was and I came to Facebook every day to fulfill that purpose.

Gold was discovered in the Klondike in August 16, 1896. When news of the discovery arrived in Seattle and San Francisco the following year it triggered one of the largest gold rushes in the history of North America. Tappan Adney, a young writer and photographer who worked for Harper's Weekly, set out on a journey to uncover and record what it was like in the Klondike stampede. Story
Since the time of Columbus, Indian slavery was illegal in much of the American continent. Yet, as Andrés Reséndez illuminates in his myth-shattering The Other Slavery, it was practiced for centuries as an open secret. There was no abolitionist movement to protect the tens of thousands of natives who were kidnapped and enslaved by the conquistadors, then forced to descend into the "mouth of hell" of 18th-century silver mines or, later, made to serve as domestics for Mormon settlers and rich Anglos.

But in that year, two men will come to Thebes. The first is Sam Vincent, the former prosecuting attorney of Polk County, Arkansas who, with great misgivings, accepts a job to investigate a disappearance.-

The New York Times bestselling author of the Six Tudor Queens series explores the private side of the legendary king Henry VIII and his dramatic and violent reign in this extraordinary historical novel. Young Henry began his rule as a magnificent and chivalrous Renaissance prince who embodied every virtue. He had all the qualities to make a triumph of his rule, yet we remember only the violence. Henry famously broke with the Pope, founding the Church of England and launching a religious revolution that divided his kingdom. He beheaded two of his wives and cast aside two others.

Story
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.
