Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Jenny, the owner of Glow, an exclusive membership-only beauty salon, knows that better than anyone, because she knows everything about these housewives—down to each individual strand of hair.

Story
The crew of starship Antori have been hired to transport a shipping container to a nearby star system, and it's their biggest payday yet. But when one of the crew accidentally opens the container, they find themselves up against a terrifying extraterrestrial. Now, the crew must fight to stay alive as the deadly creature begins its hunt. The Cargo is a 55,000 word, science fiction horror in the vein of Aliens and Mimic. Tonally, the story is dark, with an ever-looming sense of impending horror just beyond the next hatchway. It’s tense, foreboding and teetering at the edge of hopelessness, ...

Take it from west to east, and you might find seven. But you'd better hope not. Titus and Melanie Bell leave their hotel in Fargo for a second honeymoon canoeing the Okefenokee Swamp. Slow but Interisting
It takes a moment to get started, but the story is interesting. There is a shade of Lovecraft in it and a little Men in Black. If you like either of these story lines you will probably like this. Hopefully the author will make enough money on this to have a decent narrator for his next work. AI narration always make the story a little flat and is never the best option.
