Layered and nuanced story!

Finally! A murder mystery where the victim isn’t a young female. I’m so sick of most storylines involving violence against women. It gets old being in a world where the person most like me in a story is the person who is dead. So I loved the novelty of a male victim! This book was brilliantly told, with multiple stories layered together yet still mirroring each other. The characters were complex and everyone is an unreliable narrator here. This is audio storytelling at its best—a real gem.

Mysterious and Twisty!

I love the unique character perspective switching throughout this twisty mystery. Nothing - or no one - is quite as it seems. The author plays with truth and perception of reality as we solve an challenging who dunnit. Great cast and performances too!

I enjoyed the performance of this book. It demonstrates how competition, jealousy, and immaturity can lead to tragic results. This was a twisted game of he said she said. It was exhausting. I didn’t wax t to DNF it, but couldn’t wait for it to be over. I am happy it was free and not any longer.

I loved the story telling!!!! Each chapter left me wanting more but still giving me just enough. I love the twists and turns and each character felt authentic.

This was really good!!

Well done and flat out amazing. Once it gets its hooks in you there is no putting this story down. I had no clue until the very end so don’t try to figure it out just enjoy some of the best storytelling you will ever hear. Highly recommended!
