Best pep talk/ real talk
I am soooo happy I came across this book. I loved the female voice for the audio and the tender words of inspiration. I just w/ drew my son 8y/o from a B&M public school which was failing him. My gut told me 3 years ago to do this. I am in the deep dive of “what did I just do” and “am I smart enough to do this” so this book was truly a breath of fresh air and just what I needed. Everything happens for a reason and I see why.

Encouraging and insightful
I love to listen to homeschool books over the summer to get me back in a Christ centered mindset for homeschooling in the fall. This was easy to listen to, engaging, entertaining, and uplifting. After homeschooling for 5 years I resonated with so much of her experience. Highly recommend. This would have been a good book to start homeschooling with.

Helped me so much despite religious differences
I knew this book would have a Christian bent, but was taken a bit by surprise just how heavy it would be, at times a bit righteous. This is not a criticism as I respect and admire people who stand strong in their values. That being said, as a deeply spiritual person, this book helped me SO MUCH as it came to my attention how much self-doubt was plaguing me as an unexpected homeschool Mom. My son also has the same developmental disorder as the author’s child, and I was so appreciative of these kinds of challenges being brought into the book. I was deeply moved by some of the stories. I devoured the book in just two days and it’s completely shifted my mindset. Gratitude to the author for following the call to create this!
