About this listen

Crank is a standalone romance in a new small town, blue-collar series from USA Today best-selling author Adriana Locke. Join listeners everywhere as they fall in love with the delicious Gibson boys.

This is one mistake Sienna Landry can't buy her way out of.

As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she's in trouble. It's not the busted headlight and dented grill that's sunk her though. It's the downright sinful man in front of her that's the problem.

The small-town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline, and Sienna isn't sure why that's so sexy, but it is. It so is. She's ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.

He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It's thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she's everything he's ever wanted. So why won't he give in?

The damage to Walker's truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of them, ending with truths that rock Sienna's world. Nothing can fix her broken heart except the love of a man that won't, maybe even can't, love her back.

Loved Walker and Sienna!

Crank by Adriana Lock was a fun strangers-to-lovers romance that made my heart super happy. This is book one of The Gibson Boys series, and I enjoyed listening to this audio from start to finish. This audiobook is performed in duet narration by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. Wen and Kai did amazing things with Locke's words and made me feel every bit a part of grumpy Walker and sassy Sienna's love story. Plus, the chemistry between Walker and Sienna will melt your earbuds. I love their witty banter and pent-up sexual tension! I am looking forward to more from Adriana Locke!

What passion as I listen to CRANK

OH my all my feels for this book. I am a HUGE fan of this author lady and now to have Wen and Kai reas this book just proved that this book is amazing!!!

Sienna Landry is not like the rest of her family. She doesn't want the fine china, she wants to feel normal and enjoy life as much as she can. Walker Gibson is your everyday blue collar worker. He loves his life in Illinois, but he is missing something. Now take one long legged blonde and a baseball bat and you have something steamy.

Sienna is a wholehearted helper/doer. She knows she can help when others just can do it. Walker see this in her and wants more, but he has something that needs to be fixed before he can move on. He will do anything to make sure she stays in there quiet little town, but is it enough? See more on my VLOG on release day- A Day With Ethel.

Crank

Very good story. I love the way these two met! This book has a little bit of humor in it that every now and then will give you a chuckle, but the majority of the book is just the romance. You get to watch these two circle each other until they finally figure it out. There is a bit of a twist towards the end and I am happy to see that is was resolved. Definitely worth the listen.

Never Disappointing!

I have fallen in love with this author's writing. I listened to the start of this book today while making a two hour drive and while hiking six miles. It was so good that I continued listening to complete the book. Loved it!!!

Another Hit For Locke

My favorite part of Adriana Locke's audio books is the narration. I love how the story is told as a conversation between the two male and female parts. Their voices are easy on the ear...most enjoyable. Adriana has a brilliant way of story telling. Her character development is wonderful. I am able to fall in love with all of the characters, which in turn, sets me up to want to hear all of their stories. Everything flows throughout and keeps you wanting more. I highly recommend all of her books.

Great narrators for a great story!

I enjoyed this reading of Crank. I read the book when it first came out and loved it. It was nice to be able to escape back into the world of the Gibson boys by having it read to me as I took care of adult things. I liked how the male and female narrators read the parts of their own genders rather than trying to change their voices for the other gender as they read from their pov. I prefer that way of reading, and I appreciate the author for having the book recorded that way.

The most unexpected way to meet

I really loved this story and the way the main characters meet really said it all for me. How you not love the pairing of Sienna and Walker meeting over a bashed in truck from a baseball bat incident? The development of the characters relationship from there is nothing short of fantastic. All around I loved this story from start to finish. I am so excited to read more about these Gibson boys :)

This was my first audio book in the duet style and wow that makes it like a full out play, the characters really come to life. The insertion of laughter when described on the page really sets this style of audio to another level. The narrators did an awesome job.

Loved the dual narration!

I really enjoyed this book due to the dual narration. With the back and forth POV stories, it’s nice to hear a male actually speak the male voices and the woman speak the women’s voices.
In addition to the narration, the story was good. The angst at the end was a bit long, but as always a hea was delivered as expected.
