Thoroughly enjoyed

I had no idea what to expect as this was my first book from this author but I am so glad I gave it a shot! What a unique alternative to a traditional romance. Modern and contemporary. Relatable for a whole new generation but still has all the makings of a romance that makes your heart flutter and is painful enough to draw tears. Can't wait to continue on with this series.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, already told many friends

Bff's brother with a twist

Rule was a great skin on the typical Best friend's sibling romance. Shaw is the heroine of the story. She had a best friend named Remy. Rule was Remy's twin brother. While Remy was captain of the football team, close with the family and a more "socially acceptable" son, his twin was the antithesis. Rule was a bit of a delinquent. He was tatted and pierced with wild a colorful haircuts. He also had a brash personality. Shaw went her whole life inlove with Rule. Even though she was studying to be a doctor and came from a rich family, she wanted the bad boy. Rule was completely oblivious to her feelings and her relationship with his brother.

I loved everything about this story. The family dynamic, the friends, the "opposites attract" narrative, the sex scenes; it all worked. Remy also seemed like such an important part of the group. I wish he couple been a more active part of the story. However, I did figure out what was going on with him and Shaw well before she revealed the true dynamic of our relationship. Even that narrative worked for me. I kept putting this story off and I'm so mad I didn't give it a chance sooner.

Worth the hype! Now I need more Marked Men.

I dove into this series because many adiobook friends recomended and raved about it. I completely see why this series is so popular and has won many fans. Aside from the writing being stelar and very grounded, I think the narration was spot on fantastic!! This is the first time I listehn to narration by Michael Rahhal and very much enjoyed it. Sophie Eastlake is simply spectacular. I am a huge enemy to lover & friend to lover sucker and this one was done in a way that kept you engaged and wanting more. Now I want the rest of the series!!!

I want more Casper and Rule.

I love love love this book. Great start into the series can't wait to go to the next one. So messed up families on both parts. It shows how to people so different can still be so alike in the way they are brought up and how they can overcome such circumstances that brought them to where they're at now. Love Rule and his hard edges. definitely definitely a must buy.

I'm marked for more!

I’m a big fan of NA contemporary series, even though, most the time these stories are angsty and frustrating I love when I find them impossible to put down.
The characters in this story are well developed, and their level of maturity gives the novel a more adult feel that I found a bit more relatable.
Rule was a super enjoyable listen. I love the characters, the protagonists are well matched. There’s a little bit of suspense to keep things more interesting as if we didn’t have enough with their volatile relationship.
Rule was a great introduction to Crownover’s bad boys bunch in her Marked Men series, and it has made a fan out me. I’m definitely planning on continuing this series.

Sensuality: HOT
Genre: New Adult

NARRATION

The narration is perfectly executed by Sophie Eastlake (favorite of mine) and Michael Rahhal (new to- me)
Both narrators did a fantastic job with their interpretation of the characters and the pace of the story.
Sophie was perfect with Shaw!
Michael didn’t skip a beat bringing Rule’s bad boy persona to life, reflecting his hot-headed personality but yielding a very likable character.
I loved their interpretation!
