This audiobook has calm, soothing instruction at a relaxing pace and contains quality visualizations. How’s this beautiful example from the Cloud Relaxation: “the cloud loses its identity and is absorbed into the ocean”. It’s a great way to unburden yourself of tension and quiet persistent and racing thoughts and anxiety. Let go of things that don’t serve you. Reprogram your brain to a healthier state with the numerous affirmations. For example: “Choose to focus on positivity” “Everything I did today will make tomorrow better” “I have a good outlook on life” “I’m surrounded by good vibes” “You cherish your body, mind, and spirit”.

This is easily the best book I’ve encountered on anger management and I’ve read more than a few. It’s exceptionally well written and very easy to digest. It doesn’t demonize anger but rather discusses healthy versus unhealthy anger and helps you reframe the emotion of anger. This book has thoughtful exercises and is perfect for anyone who wants to transform their relationship with anger and live an authentic life.

I really enjoyed all the ideas presented in this book. So much to do… so little time! The writer, who also impressively narrated the audiobook, is clearly coming from a place of personal experience which is so important when you’re seeking advice. He outlines approximately how much he spent monthly while RV’ing around the USA which is a great frame of reference for me and informs my decision of whether to pursue the same. All in all, this book is totally worth it!

A book like this could easily be dry and boring, but a combo of the personal writing style and narration makes this entertaining and enjoyable! As someone with a lifelong fear of forced social interactions, I found the tips provided in this book super helpful, especially the ones about how to increase confidence and silence the inner critic. We’re obsessed with telling ourselves stories about what we assume the other person is thinking and/or feeling. And we’re convinced these stories are absolutely true! The author tells a humorous story demonstrating how false this is. Other valuable tips: how to build up to public speaking and how to use small talk as a building block for relationships. It’s not just about passing the time. Bottom line: If you want to learn how to overcome awkward situations - or the FEAR of having an awkward situation - you need to check out this book.

Is there anything better than geeking out on quantum information? I think not. This is such a current and relevant topic and is only going to become even more so. This book does an excellent job of describing the history of quantum and related discoveries and I feel smarter now lol. I personally didn't know the difference between dark matter and dark energy (hint: one is WAY more abundant than the other in our universe!). It was also fascinating to learn why it is that radiation is harmful to humans. Lots of great info here, and not over your head like some other books on this subject matter can get. The author keeps things pretty light, as evidenced in one of the humorously titled sections "how to tame an atom bomb".

This book is presented from a chiropractic point of view and is very well written. We all have presumptions about aging and what that means for your mind/body but this book challenges the assumptions we make and offers very helpful advice. The body is a self-healer, but only when it's supported by healthy lifestyle and proper brain/body communication.

“Nervous system is our body’s control panel” is perhaps my favorite line from the book. It's an apt analogy and easy to follow.

There are many nuggets of info that I never know. For example, using a padded seat is a good idea because any strong pressure against the back of the knees aggravates sciatica. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I'm sitting at my desk since I do suffer from sciatic pain.

This brings me back to being a kid when I was fascinated by space and our solar system especially. I love the way this book is written with a "live" launch built into the audio along with sounds of liftoff as the reader begins their journey aboard a rocket ship to tour the planets. It's very interactive and engaging and full of fun facts (I had no idea a space suit costs millions of dollars!). I can't wait to share this with my godsons who are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

I really enjoyed this book! There are many tips and techniques described and they really do work. I think remembering people's names when you meet them is one of the more respectful things you can do. When people tell me "I'm not good at remembering names!", I just want to tell them the techniques that can help with that! This book will certainly give you the tips to make you GOOD at remembering names.

It's clear the author has been successful in the Airbnb business and for long enough that you trust his "lessons learned" and want to model your own approach after his. This book is super comprehensive, covering every aspect of the Airbnb business I could ever think of and then some. I appreciated the valuable insights regarding identifying your target customer and directing your efforts (including marketing and hospitality) accordingly. The importance of leaving a small gift for kids, for example, if you're targeting families, is such a simple idea but goes a long way and could make the difference between a 4 and 5 star review. I also like the idea of leaving a "house manual" for the guests and the tips regarding construction of your ad title are great.
