What will it take to run a marathon in less than two hours? The world's fastest times for the marathon have been dropping since the distance of 26.2 miles was made official nearly one hundred years ago. But after a noticeable decline that occurred for a half century, the times, while still edging lower, have stalled several minutes north of two hours for the past decade. For the first time, 1:59 examines what it will take for an elite distance runner to go subtwo hours.

Extremely Comprehensive!!
This is one of the most comprehensive books about pain management I've seen in the market. Written by a doctor of chiropractic care, this book offers both short, medium, and long-term solutions that many seek for better holistic health. From stress relief to nutrition to exercise to spinal health, the book is really a manual for all types of issues we face when our body isn't cooperating with us. The book is also encouraging and relatable as the doctor includes her own health struggles that ultimately lead her to passionately help others. If you're looking for a great pain management and holistic resource, look no further!

From A- Z to Feel Better
This book got me to evaluate how I live my life and how I want to feel in the future. I want to live a full life unlimited by the body's ailments., like most people. Many just accept these as expected because of age. The problem is a lack of knowledge; you will lack none here. It provides a full explanation of our crucial systems, such as digestive, lymphatic, and nervous, and how those work in the body correctly and incorrectly. A thorough breakdown of supplement vitamins and minerals to help our body perform at its best provides a well-rounded view of our needs. I have loved to sleep, and now I know why. Sleep is so critical and is one of the easiest things we can do, but, at the same time, the hardest to incorporate into our lives to do to start our healthy journey. Start your new life today with this book.

excellent
This book is presented from a chiropractic point of view and is very well written. We all have presumptions about aging and what that means for your mind/body but this book challenges the assumptions we make and offers very helpful advice. The body is a self-healer, but only when it's supported by healthy lifestyle and proper brain/body communication.
“Nervous system is our body’s control panel” is perhaps my favorite line from the book. It's an apt analogy and easy to follow.
There are many nuggets of info that I never know. For example, using a padded seat is a good idea because any strong pressure against the back of the knees aggravates sciatica. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I'm sitting at my desk since I do suffer from sciatic pain.

everyone should read this
This book opened my mind to new things I never thought about. I used to think that for every aches and pain I got then I should go to the doctor. Little did I know that pharmaceuticals will only make me feel better momentarily but if I change my nutrition, activity and sleeping habits I would get better. this book explains e every thing very simple and easy to follow. I highly recommend this book specially what it teaches you about sleeping habits

Secrets Your Body Will Thank You For
As a CrossFit athlete, I depend on (and benefit from) regular chiropractic care. So, I was already a fan of this book’s core topic. But “Fired Up & Feeling Great” is about so much more! I loved learning about my body’s innate intelligence and the reasons why having skeletal alignment and optimizing my nervous system is so vital to my overall health. Concepts like “solutogenesis” vs. “pathogenesis” are so key to living your best life! And it is amazing to learn how many elements are in our personal control. This book will teach you all about how to battle inflammation, boost your nutrition, sleep better, breathe better, and ensure that your work environment isn’t totally sabotaging you! These are powerful secrets your body will thank you for. I especially applaud Dr. Nathalie for providing us with a FREE app that is full of downloadable pdfs, so we have specialist-guided support in making these changes one step at a time in order to actually achieve success! Highly Recommend!

Get Some Healing Powers
This engaging and informative audio book, provides a comprehensive guide to natural healing methods for pain relief and overall wellness.
From the very start, the narrators warm and compassionate voice draws you in, making you feel like you're having a one-on-one conversation with a trusted friend. It begins by explaining how chronic pain can negatively impact every aspect of our lives, and then introduces a unique "Fired Up" approach to healing, which focuses on activating the body's natural healing powers through nutrition, movement, mindset, and community.
One of the things I liked most about this audio book was its practicality. The book offers a wealth of simple, yet effective tips and techniques for improving your health and reducing pain, such as incorporating anti-inflammatory foods into your diet, practicing mindful breathing, and engaging in gentle exercise. It also provides helpful resources and recommendations for further exploration.
This is an excellent audio book for anyone seeking natural solutions to chronic pain and a better overall sense of well-being.

Informative and Practical
I agree with the author when she said your mindset plays a huge role in your health. We all have busy lives and many times we ignore taking action to feel better. Many times we say “Oh I am getting old” whenever we experience physical pain when in fact we just need to make adjustments to our daily routine. The author shares her story which I am sure many can relate to it. The audiobook focuses on prevention although it offers solutions as well and provides a series of strategies to improve your well-being. Good listening.
