Ready for Book 2

As always, Ray Porter’s narration transports me to new worlds so effortlessly that I often find myself nearly out-of-body because I’m on some distant planet somewhere. Still, this is a story I’ll need to listen to a second time. (I’ll chalk it up to ‘user error’ that I’m still not clear about who “won” the last battle.)

Fantastic story.

Hoping the story continues. Over all performance was remarkable. Story is magnificent and magnetic and engaging.

Jonathan doesn’t disappoint with this multi- layered story. Excellent car of characters brought to life by Ray Porter.

Excellent Premise

I'll preface this by saying that I'm a big fan of Jonathan Mayberry. I enjoyed this book, but it suffered from what I perceive as poor editing. There were too many repeats of the context throughout the book. It spoiled the suspense and took me out of the story to hear the same info repeat over and over again.

If corrected in the next book, this will easily be a 5-star, fast paced, sci-fi story with heroes you can root for.

The writing and the narration were superb!!!!

I absolutely love the way Ray Porter narrates stories. He makes a story come to life and creates the characters as believable and alive!

I absolutely love love love Mr Mayberry’s books but I will need to listen to this one again. I was so lost with all that’s going on.
