This one wasn't for me.

I found the FMC vapid and annoying. I did not buy the love or perceived "tension" between the fmc and mmc. The "plot" is riddled with holes and the mmc gave me the ick.

A mostly fun tale of toxic love

This one won’t be for everyone. After all, the MC’s do poison each other as teens. Also Tamlin hops universes to star as the rival fairy king, once again proving nice doesn’t equal good.
The author must be acutely aware of how obtuse a love triangle sounds, and rightly so, as this one quickly does a 180.
Overall this was a fun, spicy listen. Slightly derivative, but done well.

I read sooo much fantasy romance (Romantasy) and this is THE PERFECT READ! Seriously don’t let other reviews tell you otherwise it’s SO worth a try, I truly am recommending this to everyone. Such a page turner!

A twisty time!

I loved this book! It was a great way to close out the year. Mildred is a FMC that has some sass. The plot had me questioning every single thing. I didnt know what the heck was going on until the end. The romance was executed so well. I was absolutely here violent cat and mouse. This was a perfect standalone. It had the perfect balance and felt complete. The epilogue was beautiful and was a perfect ending.

I really liked this story. I do wish there was a male narrator in addition to the women but I loved it all the same

Stars to the author fantastic story

The story was beautiful and transported me to there time. Some beautiful love scenes that did not become too raunchy or vulgar, I felt I was the female being swooned by the prince

Spicy Faerie story to check all boxes

I enjoyed getting half way through the book without seeing the ending a mile away. I instantly had to reread/listen. Also, 5/5 spice. I hope more people find this gem.

I was looking for a one-book novel to enjoy. After reading the reviews it mentions the lack of world building but honestly for a novel it was simple and I liked it. Love story unfolded beautifully. It was strongly based on the romance. If you are looking for a simple listen with a enemies to lovers story with a potential war buildup this is a good listen.
Honestly it had me on the main characters trying to poison each other as children.

Narrator was great. Enjoyed the simplicity of a beautiful enemies-to-lovers story.

Story is great, audio could be better but it’s not the worst.

I genuinely enjoyed the story and almost wish there was more of it. The story was great and kept me interested.
