As always, CC has written a novel that I couldn’t put down, complete with mystery, passion, friendships to aspire to, and so much more.

Was everything I hoped it to be

I have been waiting for this final book to the series and it was everything I hoped it would be! Great story, great finish. Well done

I couldn't stop listening, you won't be disappointed!! I just wish another book ready to load, I love all of Cassandra Clare books!!!

I couldn't "put it down"

I really loved how even though written in another time and place, you feel like you are there when you read the books in each of the series. how she brings together all of the stories, how she leaves you wondering what she will write next. Johnathan shadow hunter and David the silent, perhaps? Or will she go forward in time again?

Beautiful

I have listened and read almost all of the actual timelines of narrative stories told of the shadow hunters. I’m saying this even with this trilogy I have fallen in love yet again beauty of courage love and duty keeps us coming back for more thank you Cassandra C

Worth The Wait

Very fitting final end to the series! Loved the storyline, loved the love, and loved the narrator yet again.

Amazing end to the trilogy!

I loved this whole trilogy (along with all the other Shadowhunter books), and this one wrapped everything up so wonderfully. The series showed all the characters developing so fully, which was very satisfying. Though there were some heart-aching moments in this book, it was overall very rewarding. All the characters we’ve fallen in love with as readers and listeners tug at our hearts some more! Overall, a great ending to a great story.

Another great book by Cassandra Clare!

I’ve listened to all of Cassandra Clare’s books in sequence, however, I accidentally listened to Chain of Thorns out of order before Chain of Iron. I found it great as a stand-alone book as well as one from a series point of view. I had listened to Chain of Gold previously so I did have some base for the story but I found it easy to follow even though I missed the book right before.

I feel like there were a lot of sub-stories that needed closure, Clare was able to pull off a satisfying windup to the series by giving each character a gratifying ending.

Excellent series finale!

Tears, oh the tears! This finel book fulfilled & satisfied the closure I needed from this story. Although the bad guy ending was predictable, the bad girl one was clever. It pieces the other spin-off series well, too.
As usual, Finty did an excellent job with the narration.
