A lot of what people convey is done through sometimes undistinguishable movements. By learning to read people, you can judge how they react to things, conversations, or if they are trying to manipulate you. This is an excellent book on learning the psychology of the mind and turning the tables on people that use this process. Great listen.

This book teaches you how to be stronger, more aware of you and everyone around you and how to see who and what is manipulating you. You will learn defensive tactics against dark psychology, you will also go on a journey of self-empowerment. You will soon be a stronger and more confident person that no one would even think about manipulating. I honestly wish I had this book when I was married to my first husband.

Good way to learn

Listening to this audiobook was a fantastic way to learn about dark psychology and the various manipulation and persuasion methods. The author did an outstanding job, while the narrator made the content seem more personal and relatable.

Being single has its pros and cons. After a lot of heartbreaks, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I purchased this audiobook in hopes of turning my life around for the better. I could not, for the longest time, find a person that would not be either manipulative, lying or deceptive. This audiobook has allowed me to understand the signs of potentially toxic people and how to defend myself against them.

It is a great set of tools that are presented in a fun way. While not every tool or idea will work for everyone, the author presents several ideas in a progression to help with concentration and focus as well as more control over your thoughts. A book well worth listening for everyone.

I consider myself knowledgeable on the subject, and I still learned things about myself and everyone around me that I hadn't considered before. Definitely would read other books from the author, and the reading itself was great. Very soothing actually.

This audiobook is pure class – it has ways of dealing with toxic friendships that work rather than be there for show! I just started my biochemistry degree, so this will come in handy when determining who will be a good friend!
