Good story, but a 2nd tier narrator

The story continues with good intrigue and well written characters. It’s a step up and n the series.

The series adds yet another narrator and this series one is a step down. He could have at least listened to the past books to get the pronunciations consistent.

Storylines continues to evolve without getting repetitive

Great story, love this book series and author but I found myself questioning whether this audio book used an AI as the narrator.

please bring back Luke Daniels

this was a good continuation of this series however I must say I miss Luke Daniels as narrator for this author's books. quality of the narrators is declined steadily since Luke Daniels left not only in this series but also in the Frontline series. also this story was a bit unsatisfying compared to the previous installments. not much happened to progress the story in this book. and we were just left wanting more at the end of this I mean only 9 hours of content for an audiobook it could have delivered a little bit more especially as long as it took for this one to come out. but it's still not a bad listen and I'm still a huge fan of this series

4th Book, 4th Narrator?

First, the storyline is great! The author is top notch and the story is engaging.

I just binged the previous three books before listening to this one. I'm extremely disappointed with the narration. At least the previous three pronounced everything similarly, but I have to ask, "did this one even listen to any of the previous books?!?"

The pronunciation of the main characters last name is so different as to be unrecognizable! There are other inconsistencies with pronunciation also. The breaks in some places are more than obvious, with complete sound differences between sentences in some places, almost like it's a whole different narrator, whomever was in charge of production quality control failed miserably.

I was still able to enjoy the story, but pick a narrator and stick with them please. I can't wait for book 5!

good book but to short

it's a good book but it feels like the boom ended at a weird point. not a single thing feels resolved or to a stopping point. Thus feels more like the deadline ran out and what had been writen was published, or a single book was split in half.

more character development

yet another stinking narrator!!! come on really!! and this one wasn't very good. He said everything in a pretty much monotone voice. I couldn't tell which character was supposed to be talking. the text to speech would have done better imo
