I have listened to this book and her podcast multiple times. As some of the content pertains to UK law, the overall content is pertinent and helpful. She presents well researched in formation and is able to communicate that information effectively I have suggested this book and the podcast to my therapist with high regards. I recommend Dr. Mckenna to everyone dealing with a narcissist in their life whether divorcing or not.

A wonderful listen

Eventhough its set for UK laws, this book still has many great tips, advice and an understanding of the narcissist partner. Some of the tips are very helpful for the American legal system.

A necessary read

I wish I would read this book as soon as my narc husband ask for a divorce. It would of been helpful. This book I feel has given me tools and concepts I will be taking seriously. I think everyone needs to read this book because it will help with discerning who is a narc whether you’re divorcing or not.

Deep understanding and direction

This book really laid open the mystery of narcissism and defined the personality disorder vividly. It offers detailed advice and likely expectations for how a narcissist will behave when faced with a separation and divorce. This is incredibly useful when strategizing your plan of action and protecting yourself and children, if you have them in the marriage. Also great advice for self care and recovery from the repeated abuse from a narcissist. Highly recommended.

Helpful

This audiobook has made what I have been living a lot clearer. I wish they would’ve had education available regarding this disorder 20 years ago. At least it would’ve saved me 20 out of 33 years. I always thought it was just immaturity.
