Is there a singular way to change your life? One set of skills designed to improve the core aspects of your mental, emotional, and social health forever? Well, from my experience there is. Improving my emotional intelligence gave me all of these benefits and more. Looking at myself, and I mean taking a realistic look, gave me a whole new perspective on my identity and life. I was no longer living a series of unfortunate events that I had no control over. Now, I see it through an entirely new lens and have more control over my life than I ever thought imaginable. My emotions aren’t a mystical force bogging me down and dictating my behavior anymore. As I began to understand my feelings and why I was experiencing them, I finally gave myself the tools to free myself from their shackles. Becoming overwhelmed by stress and negative emotions became a thing of the past, and I was finally able to move past them to achieve the things I truly wanted out of life.

You can’t become a master at emotional intelligence in a day, but with some time and this methodical approach, you’ll be a pro at your emotional intelligence skills in no time. You’re about to take charge and put your life into your own hands. I encourage you to allow yourself to continue with this exhilarating experience at your own pace. Take your time to get to the core of the concepts and integrate them into your lifestyle as naturally and effectively as possible. Remember, the best things in life aren’t those that come quickly, but those we work hard to build as a meaningful element. It’s always better to take your time and truly reap the benefits of learning a new skill, especially those of emotional intelligence. This is going to bring my awareness to the next level

I found this book to be very insightful because self awareness isn’t something most people think about. But I’m interested in raising my EQ and I found this book to be perfect for me. It really has me taking a hard look at myself and having to ask myself tough questions that I otherwise would never have thought about!

A journey of self-discovery

This audiobook has helped me to acquire a broader vision of what IE is. For a long time, more importance has been given to the intelligence quotient, when what counts most is IE because it is from there that we direct our lives without knowing it, with all its consequences. In this book I have found answers to many of the questions I had about it. It is explained from the author's personal experience, which gives it value. What I liked the most is that it is not schematic, it simply provides you with the conceptual and practical tools so that you can apply them little by little according to your needs. It is a good book. I recommend it.

Choosing to be Self Aware

You are not aware of self awareness until you come across books like this. But seriously guys, this is a game changer. If you can be aware, and present when you get mad or have any other emotions, then you can control your life, the way you think and overcome all those negative thoughts!
