This author is courageous, witty and has no hidden agenda. In fact it’s her matter-of-fact writing style that made this such a fun audible listen! A must read

So many financial books have harmful and toxic info in them and this book offers the complete opposite. There's a reinforcement of taking your time to implement things and doing this in ethical ways. I can't recommend enough!

I’m in an altogether different (better) place financially now than when I downloaded this book 10 months ago. Huzzah! Really happy to have found Dunlap’s work. I now have 3 months of living expenses saved in a high yield savings acct, I’m beginning to save for a house-ownership dream, and I’m investing 20% of my income for retirement. I feel less confounded and discouraged by money on the whole thanks to the author’s frank, funny, and feminist approach. I’d love to see more from this author on socially responsible investing since we can’t live into feminist values while invested in companies that aren’t good for women, BIPOC, people with disabilities etc. I appreciated the content on this topic in the book and crave more! Maybe I’ll dig through her podcast episodes to see what I can find there. Would also love to hear her use her platform to interview people about co-ops and alternatives to capitalism and specific anti-classism efforts like those under way with the org Resource Generation. Thanks Dunlap for a great audiobook.
