While 13% of boys are diagnosed with ADHD, only 4.2% of girls are, and it’s not because girls don’t have it: it’s because we are misdiagnosed! To make matters worse, the older we get, the harder it is for medical professionals to diagnose and treat us properly. Often the only time a medical professional will notice it is if we have children who are diagnosed. By then, you’re used to living in the chaos of your home and brain!

Very Informative!
I learned a lot more then what my counselors and teachers have been telling me. I definitely recommend this book with anyone trying to expand there knowledge on ADHD

awesome to hear a perspective that's like yours and I love learning in all different ways. love the way this book is read and how she reads it. it's awesome, highly recommend for women with ADHD, their loved ones and anyone who wants to learn about the disorder

Tackling ADHD as an adult woman
This audio book has been very helpful in identifying which type of ADHD is present in my life. It breaks down the many forms of ADHD in adult women and helps you understand ways it can present itself, how it impacts everyday life and the various ways you can make changes to help improve your day to day life. It even goes in-depth as to the ways society sometimes overlook's ADHD in women. A wealth of knowledge, very happy I came across this audio book! It has clarified so many things for me.

High recommendation by physician assistant
I’ve been a physician assistant for nearly 15 years and currently practicing psychiatry. This is an extremely insightful book, well researched, And one of the few you can find written from the patient perspective. I highly recommend it to my patients, particularly my female clientele.

Difficult to understand narrator
Interesting content but the narrator spoke very quickly and many words slurred together. It was hard to follow. She needs to slow down and annunciate her words more clearly.

Good tips to implement
While the title of the book seems to be targeting adult women, I still picked it to know the difference (I’m a male). This book is among my first resources on this subject and I’ve been learning a lot. Good practical tips to practice. One of the things I started implementing is to write down what I have done throughout the day. It helps me to know how I'm spending my days because I constantly feel that weeks fly by and I don't know even remember how I spent them whenever I look back.
