I know I say this everytime Jaine gives another world and I say world not book. Because that's what they are it's world where you get lost in the lives and emotions of not just the main characters but your invested and intrigued in all characters. So more about Handsome Devil,  from the moment anyone has read Dirty like me,  you are very much interested Katies bff Devi. This heroine Devi is smart, strong and takes on the world. Dane is Hot and he knows it. He looks for weakness and gets it out but what happens when you meet that one person who can't stand but want anyways. This book has it all!! And I do mean all smoking hot chemistry, Hot sex, fighting,drama, love, heartbreak and friendship.  As always Jaine NEVER failes to BLOW MY HEART AND MIND!!  I always think I can't love one of mcs more and than bamm she does it again. If you love all the feels with a strong sassy woman and hot devil with a soft and tender heart this book has it all!  This one will keep you guessing and biting your nails to see what's happening next. I can't  waitfor the one in the series.
Ps you can pick this book without having read the Dirty or Players series. All though it be a lot more fun if you do!

Enjoyable

Mostly enjoyable at parts it got a bit boring with the constant battle of competitive banter. It could possible merge some chapter and get rid of some of the stubborn he will not get the best of me it got on my nerves a bit.

A GOOD ENEMIES to LOVERS ROLLERCOASTER

This is a long and weighty book but it needed to be to 180 the character of Dane Davenport. He’s a rich spoiled Trust Fund asshole from a privileged family of entitled Billionaires. And the person who will ultimately change him will be his High School enemy Devi Sereda.. the one girl who didn’t fall at his feet or swoon. They were 17.. and they were oil and water.

Today, Devi is top Agent for a Vancouver Modelling Agency.. a company and career she loves.. until it’s bought by the Davenports and Dane is brought in to reorganize and sweep it clean. Devi is a beautiful, feisty, firecracker who had hoped to buy the Agency herself one day so she doesn’t appreciate it when her hated old enemy becomes her new boss. He’s Satan, he’s the disgraced star of a leaked sex tape and he’s the 29 yr old Billionaire bachelor who’s come to stir things up and threaten her dream job. So Devi must show no weakness.. even when the ice lord hatches a diabolical plan of a fake marriage. But their icy, hostile first meets, their verbally sharp banter.. and their resentful office push n pulls slowly turn to much needed character growth, sparks, revelations, shocking truths and a change of heart.

Worth a credit? Yes, very entertaining dual POV’s and the narration brought the characters and the story to life.

Devi is the bomb

About time Devi gets her own HEA.
This is actually my second time reading this story (first on audio though). I read it when it first got released, but I initially wasn’t a big fan of the Vancity Villians series (though the Dirty &
Players series are some of my very favorite books ever!).
I liked this book better this time around. It’s still not one of my favorites in the “Dirtyverse”, but it’s definitely worthwhile, and should really be read if you plan to continue with the series. While each book CAN be read (for the most part) as a stand-alone, they are each interconnected.

Enemies to lovers… maybe

Talk about your slow burn, enemies to lovers troupe! Devi and Dane have known each other from high school and to say that Dane is the devil would be an understatement. As far as Devi is concerned he has no redeeming qualities and at the beginning of the book I probably would have agreed with her. But as the story unfold you start to see Dane in a different light and as the reader falls for his charm so does Devi.

Audible review. Dual POV. Vancity Villains series book 1. Both narrators were great but neither adopted a Canadian accent for any of the Canadian characters they portrayed. You cannot go wrong with Jaine Diamond and 'Handsome Devil' proves it. I hope you 1-click it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Dane first saw Devi the first day of their senior year of high school and Devi didn't give him the time of day. Flash forward 12 years and nothing has changed except their ages and an entire book of HEAT. I look forward to more books in this series. JP

Narrators were great. Story dragged in middle.

This was my first book by Jaine Diamond. I bought/listened because of the narrators-- Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais. (They are 2 of my favs.) The story started out fine, but by midway, was dragging. The action was good, but too much time spent rehashing the same stuff. Lots of miscommunication between characters. Needed a better edit. By the end, I was pretty much hanging around to hear Connor Crais and see what happened with his character, Dane, as I found him more likeable. Narrators were great. Connor and Sam B. always bring their A-game. I did find the Lex character interesting, and listened to his book next.

Excellent narration

This is my favorite female narrator ever. Both male and female did an awesome job. Story was good.

Second time reading/ listening

I love both of these narrators! But seriously forget what a bitch the FMC is. She’s honestly really annoying. Make the story repetitive and drag on forever.
