Wow!! what a ride. Great start to another rock romance series. twist of fate, it all ends well in the end. Hopefully, more to come with this whole group of rockers. Ava and Lee did an outstanding job bringing the cast of voices to life. worth your credit and the time to listen....

Best Story in the entire Dirty/Players Series!!

This is the story that anyone who has read A Dirty Wedding Night, Dirty Like Seth, and Dirty Like Dylan has been waiting for!! Those stories give a glimpse of Ashley Player, especially Dylan's story, but Hot Mess is all about Ash! If you've read the Dirty Series (hopefully in order), your heart will go out to Ash so by the time you get to his story, you will absolutely love him!! By far my favorite character/story!!

what can I say love Jaine Diamonds books and Hot Mess is no different. this book delivers all the right feels in all the right places. Lee Samuels and Ava Erickson do a fantastic job of bringing Ashley and Danica to life!! I loved Lee Samuels so much that Im listen to other books he does.

If you have read the Dirty series- this is next!

I'm so glad the author decided to continue Ashley Player's story! Ashley always seems like he is in the background and forgotten or even down on his luck. But, he seems to be the life of the party and a fun and good-nature type of guy - someone everyone wants to party with. He has tons of talent but it's not being used; he has made it in the rock business but not where he wants to be. He has been through many heart breaks and wants to find true love but doesn't think it could happen to him... that he is not good enough. He lives in the limelight of all his more famous friends and best friend, Dylan - Dirty's drummer. This is a longer story but I believe a needed story for a guy who deserves more out of life...can he find happiness, love and success?

Audible review. Dual POV. Book 1 in the 4 book Players series. ('Flames & Flowers' is a novella that gives even more of this couple's HEA.) Both narrators did an excellent job. Trigger warnings: drugs and alcohol.

Ashley (31) has suffered heartbreak in both his professional life and his personal life. It all started when his mom left him with his dad and walked away from them both when he was young. After suffering years of missing his mom he finally looked her up only to find out she'd been dead for a year. Falling for all the wrong women and men becomes his pattern until he runs into the woman he thought he'd never see again.

Danica (27, 28) has led a fairly good life up to this point, close family and a successful career in interior design make her feel comfortable with who and where she is. One rainy night on a random errand for her ex she runs into The Ashley Player!!!! Knowing he's intoxicated and has her confused with her twin sister, she slips away to avoid unnecessary drama. Little does Danica know, Ashley is not giving up so easily. JP

OH yes, girls, this was a book I'll read over and over again, because, you never see it coming at the beginning then you cheer them on.

OMG! So so Hot!

Absolutely loved the Dirty series and was waiting for Ash’s storyline! It’s so intriguing and incredibly sexy! Also, the narrators are awesome! 5 stars across the board! Xander is next and I cannot wait to dig into his story!

I read the book some months ago, after the Dirty series, and all I can think about is this wonderful character that is Ashley. I needed to know more about him, and HOT MESS was definitely right up my alley. The voice is sexy and intensely, just what I needed to let the fantasy go wild. Ashley is, hands down, my number one book boyfriend. Jaine Diamond is such a talented writer. Her style is unique and this story got me hooked from the beginning. If you love Ash as much as I do, DO NOT hesitate, and get this audio book right now. The Players series is so promising. I'm already reading book 2 (about Xander) and OMG! I can't stop. Go ahead, u won't regret it!
