Engaging and Informative

The information Dr. Gupta provides is clear, understandable, and very informative. I sensed a. passion on his part to impart his knowledge for the betterment of our overall health which is founded in a great part by the health of our minds.

This is a fantastic book and should be required reading for everyone

Dr. Gupta presents a comprehensive view of the brain from his highly educated, Neuro Surgeon perspective.

He describes brain physiology, development, memory, performance improvement, ailments, and strategies for addressing all of these topics.

I wish this book was available to me 30 years ago. It is one I will review often and am already implementing many of Dr. Gupta’s strategies.

Dr. Gupta, thank you for this amazing book!

Excellent advice for cognitive decline at all ages

I started reading to find advice for my father who is struggling with Mild Cognitive Decline and while reading, learned some useful tips and facts about myself. My neurologist recommended this book and it was a great read. The good news (and also bad news) is that cognitive decline doesn't happen at all once but it gradual and it is not inevitable. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in brain health!

Lots of great information

I struggled a little with some of the very technical medical jargon at the beginning but overall was able to understand the important message being conveyed. I feel much better informed and will make some changes in my lifestyle.

fantastic easy to listen to book

If you're concerned about how to live a healthier lifestyle that will help promote brain health throughout your life, this is a phenomenal resource. It was accessible and easy to adopt tips. looking forward to improving my own health after reading this.

Informative

This is the first book I’ve read about the aging brain. Dr. Gupta has done a very good job delivering information. I especially like the suggestions for how to keep dementia at bay through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Also the final chapters on how to deal with it may come in helpful.

I learned some health pointers.

This is mostly about the forms of dementia and how you MIGHT be able to prevent it.
It boils down to diet and activity.

I had to listen twice as I found I could not find where I left off when falling asleep to this because it repeats itself a lot and seems a bit disorganized as far as all the stories thrown in.

I am still going to need to try to pull the web site addresses and phone number out of this when I have paper handy which will be a bit of a chore. Maybe I will try to find a website for book.

I did find it useful over all.
