This was an interesting book that I could not stop listening. Paul really made me angry. I loved Christian and his loyalty. There was a lot of sex in the book but the story was woven around it and was developed well. The way AI was presented seems possible. Loved the HEA.

Love is Not Always Smooth Sailing

Do You believe in true love? March Morgan does and she goes to extraordinary lengths to find it. The title says it all, Love for Sale. March buys Christian, an android who is programed to love her. Seems that Christian is not your usual android. He can work around his programing and that does cause problems. What does not change is his love for March. The two find that they have more than one obstacle is overcome. Someone is jealous and causes trouble but that is not the worse March and Morgan have to overcome. Look for a surprise ending that will give the two a very long HEA. Rebecca McKernan does a very good job narrating the story.

my Own dream love!

March is recently divorced. She cant find a perfect man. So she designs her own perfect android. Christian turns out to be everything that she hoped for. This shows how far someone will go to find the perfect love. I love how Linda Nightingale developed the characters love even in dark times. Rebecca Mckernan narration was easy to listen to. I loved this story! I receved this audiobook free and am leaving my honest review of this story!

March & Christian

Well this story was so very different from what I was expecting, not in a bad way but because it was so much more than I thought it would be.

March is a woman who settled, she married a man she was not head over heels in love with thinking that their love would deepen, but it never did and one day she realised she was missing so much so she asked for a divorce from Paul her husband. After a year of being alone she sees an add in a magazine in her doctor’s waiting room offering Love for Sale and flies to England.

Once there she views the androids who can be programmed to be her lover/companion. They are all georgious but Christian has that little something more, it appears that there is a mutual attraction. She agrees to buy him and after a two week period during which she falls madly in love with him they both return home to the US to start their real lives together.

Unfortunately all does not go according to plan, they have an incredible connection, they love deeply and Christian is passing for human but problems back in England and with her jealous ex cause them to have to rethink their options.

There is so much happening, March is ill and Christian’s freedom is threatened, Is there something wrong with his programming? Or is it something more? Why arn’t Mayfair Electronics keeping to their agreement with March. I’d love to be able to say more but to do so would totally spoil the story.

What I can say is that there are lots of twists and turns to this story which I certainly didn’t see coming, it was well written, well read and I enjoyed it very much. I was given this book as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Robot Husband? Sign Me Up!

I was intrigued by the interesting premise of this book. I usually go for more straight up sci-fi, but this is close... at least I don't think we have any sentient androids... yet, lol. The writing was smooth and the story interesting and easy to get lost in. There is a bit of everything here; action, romance, humor, and drama. I finished the book in a few days, which for me, is sign that I really liked it. The narrator is Scottish (she sounds a bit like Karen Gillan to me), and she is a bit rough at parts, but overall I think she does a good job. If you are a romance fan that likes your books a mixed lot with humor and action thrown in, then I would definitely recommend Love for Sale!

I was drawn to the whole idea of this book. It’s a fascinating idea. A well written book with captivating characters it was hard to put down. Excellent performance by the narrator.

Beautiful Story with a Timeless Feel

Christian is an android created in London for Mayfair Electronics. March is a disillusioned divorcee who claims she’s never been in love when she answers the advertisement. Christian is programmed to love March. A win, win situation, except her ex-husband still loves her and threatens to derail the affair. One of my favorite parts consisted of Christian getting to know March’s sons and bonding with them. His future is at stake and depends on March’s approval of him. She can return him and be refunded her money if she wishes. That’s a far cry from what she wants. She loves him, especially when he takes on human traits. The climax keeps building with many twists and turns that had me tempted to skip ahead. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say the end was fantastic. I found myself appreciating the talent it takes to weave a story of such imaginative depth and beauty. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Linda's books are just incredible this story was very very interesting and I loved it very much I couldn't imagine I will love the story so much but I did Linda has this special mannerism with words with feelings and I loved it very very much the concept of the book was very interesting and very special kind of a new way of thinking a very good book

TOTALLY ENJOYED IT.

Very interest story that really had no trouble holding my attention. Recommended for any one wanting a day or two romantic listening with some real life grittiness thrown in.

Love for Sale

I'm not sure what to think of this story; I felt the story and narration were mediocre. I wanted to like it, but there were several things that took place in the story that I didn't care for. One of those things was how quickly the characters fell in love. I know that Christian is an android, and was programmed to love March from the beginning, but it annoyed me, and the narration didn't help make the story better.

Some narrators have a way of making a mediocre story a good story, but that didn't happen. I can't say the author is a bad writer because this is the only book of hers that I have listened to, and I can't say the narrator is bad because this is the only narration I have heard of hers. The story was decent enough to keep me listening, and I became invested in it because I wanted to know what would happen between Christian and March.

Maybe if I had read the book before listening to the audio, I might have had a different opinion about Love For Sale.
