Family separation. Kids are separated from good, law abiding, American parents and others all over the world every day through "Family Court" systems. Can you imagine what it’s like to NOT have the phone number, address, or email of your own children, and be blocked from all forms of social media? You can, if you are an alienated, erased, or amputated parent. Do you know what it’s like to enter your own child’s name into an internet search to satisfy your natural urge to know if they are dead or alive? Do you know what it’s like to not be able to comfort your child in their struggles, or even know if they are having struggles? Do you know what it’s like to not be able to say Happy Birthday or send a card or gift to them? You do if your child has been psychologically abused to hate, reject, mistrust, and fear you, and believe you are a threat and you deserve to be punished. Do you know what it’s like for a young child to be ripped out of your life while only a toddler? Do you know what it’s like when your children devote large portions of their time to making sure you don't find them to express your love or desire to be part of their lives?

Do you know what it's like to be told your mother or father is a loser who never loved you, shown court papers between your parents and made to feel you must choose sides, or told lies and twisted truths that one of your parents only fakes being a nice person but is really mean inside, drug-addicted, or psychotic? Can you imagine what it's like to be punished for wanting to love, see, spend time with one of your parents, and rewarded for rejecting a loving, caring, perfectly fit parent, just to have peace around the other parent who hates them? A must read for every one.

This was such a blessing to find! I needed this 30 years ago. Thank you for putting this together in such a manner it brings understanding to a journey through the dark night of the soul. Education and Communication is what will save our children from spiritual warfare that ruins every ones quality of life. Good Job! Well done!

This was an AMAZING educational experience! If validated and confirmed so very much!! I don’t feel as crazy and FINALLY feel as if maybe, just maybe, I can get through this… even if my child doesn’t come back to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting all that into words.

The family therapist needed to read this...

Unfortunately the book wasn’t published yet. Clearly there is a lot of ignorance of this tragedy not only in the court system but amongst the professional community as well. I’m sending copies of this book to this therapist and others who doubted my story. I was the bad parent.. why else would my child hate me?.. No one suspected it was the other parent behind it all.

at chapter 7 and the bulk of the book is about parents talking to their absent child, coping. . the authors accent makes her sometimes hard to understand for me, an American from Colorado.

if you're looking for a coping book this may be it . . I am looking for a book on how to proactively prevent it from worsening as I have just recognized the early stages of parental alienation

I guess I wanted more on how to get through my pain of being abondon by my daughter? The stories of other abandoned parents made me feel less alone.
