Great YA story

This was a great story! First of all, the narration is on point and the characters were great. The world building was awesome. The story was super easy to follow. Great moral messages and coming of age.

What an outstanding cast of characters and a great collection of stories. All the stories are so good with so much action, adventure, drama, and so thrilling. I enjoyed every minute.

Well written YA fantasy

This was a very enjoyable series to listen to. This is my first experience with the author and narrator, and enjoyed both. I would have liked to see a little more growth in the relationship between Yanna and Harden, but if you are looking for a series that is very PG, this is perfect for you.

Great Boxed Set

This was a great boxed set filled with a series that will keep you coming back for more thanks to the endearing characters and engaging story lines. Rebekah Nemethy did a fantastic job of bringing these stories to life and making this a fun listen.

Solid story, good telling

I love Ava Richardson stories and this one fell in line. Good character development, the story doesn't get dull in places like many other authors fall prey too and the close leaves openings for futures and imagination.

I love how Ava Richardson always finds new stories where the unexpected turns out to be a new possibility for a better life. Review your own shackles of tradition, understand other points of view to make your own beliefs.
The narrator is not really up to the task, more empathy would be needed so that emotions can be better expressed.

Great.

Words alone cannot express how much I love this book/trilogy of series. My only gripe is that Nova is not in this book nearly enough. Zephyr is everywhere, but Nova? She doesn't show up at all. Great dragon books. Hopefully I can find some more after this, but I'm not hopeful. Too few people write books with dragons anymore.

The quality of the writing

Loved the way Richardson brings her characters to life. I always look forward to finding a book about dragons written by her.

Awesome mix of earth, another realm. magic, dragon

I have listened to over 20 of Ava Richardson's books so far and enjoyed every one.
This series is different than the others I have listened to because it now has alternate realms and various magic creatures involved. I love it! I am writing this review before I have even finished the series. I am half wa through book two right now and will update my review when I am finished. I like how Yanna has an open mind and is learning the other side to all she was taught by her family about witches. She comes face to face with creatures she previously thought of as monsters or only fantasy, and learns to appreciate their differences.
The magic in this world interestingly unique. There is more I am sure, at this point Yanna is still learning what she and others are capable of.

The characters all have their own motivations and personalities that Rebekah does a great job portraying. She puts just the right amount of feeling, emphasis and personality into the characters. She is an excellent audio performer.

I also appreciate how there is not swearing or sex and so far the violence has been superficially described. My son loves dragon stories and he is 10. So far it seems he will be able to listen to this book and he is excitedly waiting until I give the go ahead.

Update: completed the series – – loved it! Can’t wait to listen to more in this world.

excellent storytelling

I loved the way this tied together the other Ragond series and characters... seamlessly weaving this tale in with layers previously presented. The narration was well executed and I can't recommend this author highly enough.
