Practical advice, inspiring stories!

Chris' passion for this project comes through, like it does for most of his ventures, but in his own voice in this author narrated book. The author truly believes that everyone should have a side hustle, something he has lived out in his own life as most of his life has been spent in a series of side hustles so he speaks on good authority.

The book shares not only numerous examples to inspire the reader to imagine their own side hustle but also shares practical advice on how to get there.

If you are interested in learning how to earn additional income while working your full-time job and are willing to put some effort into getting there then this book is a great place to start!

Very Useful

Way better than 100 dollar start up. This book includes step by step guides and practical ways you can build a side hustle. This book also gives many example and case studies on different side hustles that you can adapt to your own business.

The wasn't only full of you could do this and this and this. I had case studies and actionable steps to take. the author plugged his other projects, which is to be expected and all and all it was a good listen. I tend to speed up all of my audible books, this one was no exception.

Just what I was looking for

Would you consider the audio edition of Side Hustle to be better than the print version?

I enjoy audiobooks. Yes, there are portions where a print version might be good but he gives you references and links to look up. I like being able to have audio bookmarks so I can go back over something again.

What other book might you compare Side Hustle to and why?

i would compare it to the 5 second rule, it is not rocket science and Chris says as much in this book and in his podcast. Neither is the 5 second rule but they can both make a revolutionary difference in your life if you follow the steps.

What about Chris Guillebeau’s performance did you like?

I liked that he broke the book down into steps and his voice is easy to listen to and inspiring.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not moving in the way a fiction book, but in a more meaningful way, I was able to get out on paper exactly which hustle is the best choice for me. I was also able to sit down once and for all and figure out what kind of income in practical terms I could reasonably expect to make from the hustle.

Any additional comments?

Excellent author. I highly recommend this and his podcast Side Hustle School proven everyday people creating many many different profitable side hustles. This is the manual for you to create your hustle and make it work for your life.

Very Motivational

This book really makes you want to attack those ideas you have even when you're not 100% ready for it. As he says, you'll never be 100% ready for it, you just have to make sure that you can adapt and change it to be better along the way!

This book was an excellent listen for anyone looking to find your start, like me. I ended up purchasing the hard back version of the book as well to actually put to action this model.
