An ex-pro gamer's body and mind are on the line as he fights for his life in the Hell level of a mysterious "Tutorial" in this dark fantasy LitRPG.
Lo Fennrick is going to die. Maybe later this month, maybe this very week. Either way, the homeless ex–pro gamer is only going to avoid starving if he freezes to death first.
On a snowy New Year's Eve, Fennrick negotiates one last hurrah in a seedy internet cafe, but at the stroke of midnight, he receives a tantalizing invitation: "You have been invited to join the Tutorial." And when presented with the available difficulty levels, he makes the obvious choice: Hell.
Soon, Fennrick finds himself in frenzied, violent combat, and it's a toss-up as to which he'll lose first: his life or what little sanity he has left. With his criminal record, estranged family, and nonexistent future, he's ready to accept death.

ok why do a feel like the mc is…
A meth head who is going through withdraw? after his mind breaks he ends up hallucinating a screen? gets taken to a mental hospital and proceeds to believe he was isekai’d … thats the vibe i’m getting from the book. step 1 of 12 steps? … i say your book is ok because its takes a lot of effort to write novels but … i like this genre and i’ve seen a mind break before and it is not pretty. if you like litrpg with powerful mc and righteous blah blah blah then i do not recommend this. If you like a mc who suffers from mental instability maybe a manic depressant and kind of dumb then enjoy … it can be a disturbing read or listen at points.
