YA book but a fun one

Let's jump right into it. I gave the story a three because of a few reasons. The first one is me just being a bit unfair. This story's protagonist very very rarely kills. Why is that a bad thing? Because he has the ability to kill and is in serious life threatening situations and for some reason he goes for knockouts, cutting calves, arms, and quads. When you are fighting with a group you don't just stab a person in the quad and then consider them out of the fight, that's idiotic and begs for the person to get up and join the fight again. Next reason is how the momentum of the book can drive you crazy. There is a perfect example when the protagonist is going to fight an opponent in the pit. You hear about how terrifying this guy is and then chapter go on and on and on. I ended up skipping the last two chapters leading upto the fight because I couldn't stand the delay anymore and to be honest I didn't miss anything. Still this is a fun book with the gore and pacing of a naruto show.

I rarely leave reviews

I have thousands of books in my Audible library and I can literally count on one hand the number of reviews I have left. I try to save them for the best of the best. This new series is one of them. I enjoyed Micheal Wiseheart's White Tower series very much but somehow this series is even better. Michael Wiseheart has become one of my top five favorite authors after reading the beginning of this series! I can't wait for more.

Engaging.

Interesting world. Intriguing. Good characters with multiple plot lines. Can't wait for the next one.

Fun story. Interesting characters with good character development. A story line that keeps moving and doesn’t drag. Good description without being overly descriptive.

Tim Gerald Reynolds kills it as usual.

I listen to almost all books in this genre. This is one of the better ones and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Really I cannot believe there is one complaint

I loved this series just fantastic and the story just got better and better until I finished book 3 and I whishing it would never end to rea about Arion's life as a child and how in the future he ends up as the Guardian Protector of the King I loved it. I was hoping there was going to be at least one more to add in is time growing up with the prince... Or maybe there is one on the way (MAYBE)

Enjoyable & Clean

It’s refreshing to hear a clean story that is just good to listen to. It’s not made for a young audience per se’. Its not vulgar or uncouth. It’s not cliche’. The main character is young. The storyline moves forward at an easy pace. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Extraordinarily compelling

This is an absolute must listen for epic fantasy lovers. Not only a great story but a command performance by the leading narrator today! Don't miss this gem.

Fun and Exciting

A fun and exciting adventure, "coming of age" story. Don't let the very few poor reviews deter you, I don't think they were actually listening.
Well written and beautifully performed adventure that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
This is the first two books in the Street Rats of Aramoor series. Banished, book 1, tells us of Ayrions background and how he comet to Aramoor which sets up the rest of the series. Book 2, Hurricane, tells us of how Ayrion becomes involved with the young street tribes and the associations and friendships he builds as a stranger and outcast.
Fun, exciting, humorous, and expertly narrated.

Excellent read

Wow! What an awesome story. I can’t wait to start the next one. I highly recommend this title before beginning Aldoran Chronicles.

I feel that these two books are some of the finest I've had the pleasure of reading in a long time. The author did an excellent job of blending the pieces together to create an excellent story. Mr. Reynolds was fantastic as usual in his performance. Over all truly enjoyable.
