Really enjoyed

My sister told me about this series and i was intrigued. It is the first Mike Kraus book that i have listened to, and I must say that I was very pleased with this series. I had had a hard time putting it down and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. This series was my first but not last and i am looking forward to many more to come. Great listen! Mike Kraus is now one of my favorite authors

So this is the first Mike Krause that I've read or listened to. I did the 12 book series on Audible and pretty much hung on every word. I like the unique approach to the event and I like the way the characters were developed. For the most part some realistic everyday man type stuff. Although the main characters had a little bit of superhero in them it wasn't excessive. Anyway love this book love this series. Thank you Mike

Acton packed

This story kept me interested without putting me to sleep, as many audio books do. The narrator kept a good pace and brought the characters to life.

This was a fast moving, exciting read. Very good story, and frighteningly realistic theory. Looking forward to trying other books from this author.

Elementary and Predictable

I was looking forward to this series, but I was very disappointed. The plot, action, and dialogue were so elementary and predictable… not to mention most of the dialogue was unrealistic. I have been around a lot of people in crisis and they don’t snicker and make stupid comments when in danger.

Had the dialogue not been so bad, the trite storyline and action arch for each book may have been less noticeable. It was like the author was trying to write a movie.

I recommend this series for teenagers who are interested in survival stories. I think they would enjoy it.
