Al wrapped up in nice neat bows

I liked the series overall, but this book got to be predictable as the author worked to neatly tie everything up. This book also had an odd flow to it wherein every chapter seemed to conclude with a final cliffhanger or some grave foreboding...it was weird and created a jerking feel to the story. I was left feeling ready for the story to be finished.

Not about this narrator

Great quality of story. Loved the whole series, just not about Natalie, too many missteps in recording and word slips

This book as the conclusion at least of this series was very satisfying and left me hoping there is more to come in the future! the world Piper CJ has built clearly has many mysteries yet to tell

A Perfect Ending

Not happy nor sad, the ending of this book - this series - was perfect. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly moments of laughter and tears throughout, but I couldn't be any more pleased with the ending. (Though, I'll admit, I hope for more stories in this universe. 🤞🤞🤞)

It’s an emotional roller coaster!

I was completely drawn in by the characters, relationships and plot. It became real to me.

Fantastic conclusion

I love the representation of different relationships and the emotional rollercoaster it is to be a human. Even tho they are mostly not human haha the Nox, Amaris, General triangle is beautiful! The overall adventure of this book and series has been enrapturing. Thank you!

Likeable characters

Unique storyline I hadn't quite heard before. Every time I thought I had the story figured out, there was another twist or added character or drastic mood change.

Great Romantic Fantasy

I loved the entire series. This was the perfect wrap up to the whole story.

I might be converted

I'm not a fantasy reader. or a series listener. I became familiar with piper through tiktok and was eventually too compelled to resist this series. it was so well done and the characters were so enjoyable. I might be converted.

Great ending but some plot holes

Loved the adventure and smut in this one. I thought the plot hole of finding the “true speaker” by having gadriel’s parents also stumble upon a priestess and the apple and seeing the true speaker was meh and her powers were convenient in a boring way. Thought that Nox’s dreaming power would’ve just been a better ending to the speaker.
