Loved this unique story

Loved it
Wasn't sure what I was expecting, but absolutely loved this story. The narration was perfect. Only issue I had was the twice mentioned "murder of ravens" even though a murder is a group of crows, but other than that it's a fantastic book.

What a great beginning!
I am impressed and delighted with the excellence of this new series. The story is well researched and serves as a chilling prelude to the horrifying realization of eugenic in the Third Reich as well as racial and genocidal tragedies world wide, a terrible legacy we deal with today.

It is just a good story
It is not the new preachy storylines that make you want to barf. Don't get me wrong, there is a misogyny storyline within the story, but again, it doesn't make you want to barf.
I enjoyed the story and have book two ready to read.

The start of something full of Charisma
A great fantasy series akin to Brian McClellan, Django Wexler, and Brandon Sanderson. Jacqueline Benson's series is stunning and narrator Alex Picard is the perfect voice to shape the story in this format.
