Super helpful

Some people are natural entertainers and I am not one. Either way The Holiday Host Guide helps get details organized and prepared so while you are hosting things flow smoothly and less stress. I love the suggestions of pre making the food so I can enjoy everyone’s company too. So glad I found this book to help a usually stressful time be enjoyable.

Organized plan!

This is a great list of categories of important things to think about before planning any events, especially with a large number of people. The book also includes solutions for staying safe during a particular event. I would suggest taking notes since there is so much good stuff that you could use. That is a very good book for teens, and it gives more interesting ideas on how to organize a party and make it fun for everybody. Since you are organized and safe with that book, your parents can be more confident in letting that party happen.

Great event planning book

This was a thorough event hosting book that takes you through everything you could possibly think of when you are planning an event. It’s designed to have you actually plan the event while listening, as it gives you time periods to start taking down notes specific for your event. Great book for anyone planning an event and feeling stuck.

A must for the perfect host!

I love to receive people at home but sometimes it can be stressful. I found that this audiobook had all kind of tricks and tips I have never thought before. Even though the audiobook is a succession of "solutions", I like that they are well structured by chapters. You'll get tips that go from taking care of scratches in your wood floor to how to deal with each kind of guest that comes to your party.

This audiobook is one of a kind

This is indeed a unique book that every holiday host should have. I never thought there was so much to consider in planning for a successful event.

I particularly love the information contained in chapters 11 and 12 – Party Games and Thoughtful Gifts. I really appreciate the games which I think are appropriate for those large family gatherings during the holidays or at special events. The gifts are great ideas for work colleagues too.

Every event planner, party planner and wedding planner will benefit from this book. And if you are that person that everyone asks for help when they have an event this will be a wonderful reference book.

Well I thought I had hosting down...

She just gave 330 reasons why I don't! Haha While I have been complimented on my hosting in the past, this book is defiantly going to up my game. So fun! The author did a great job of covering every possible angle plus there is an included PDF with links to things she mentions in the book.

Fabulous Holiday Planning Guide

I'm the type of person that likes to be overly prepared for hosting and entertaining. I also like to keep my events fun, fresh, and unique to keep the guests thrilled throughout the event.

This book is filled with a ton of great and inspirational ideas for anyone to borrow and use at their next party. I was super interested because I do a lot of holiday parties, but the best part is that the ideas are super applicable to any party, so I'll definitely be referencing this book throughout the year.

The narration is also super great quality which keeps the book engaging throughout. So satisfied with this one and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who throws a party or two a year :)

Great info for hosting.

I was amazed by this book. Neatly organized. It went from planning, budget, music, decorations, and food. There was music to play for guests. I really liked the party games and how to deal with the stress of it all. Overall very helpful and I’m more prepared for the holiday.

It's all about having a plan

It’s all about planning and I think Sydney really spells this out for us in this audible book. When planning a big get-together there is so much to think about to make sure everyone has a good time. She starts right off with the most important part, the money. Decide what we can spend, then invite people plenty early. I thought the chapter in the book about games to play is a really good idea. Even if some people don’t love to play games, it sort of forces fun interaction between people. Syndey also talks about food, kids or no kids, music, how to decorate, and the atmosphere. Overall, a great listen for anyone planning a party.
