What a spy thriller! Totally gripping listen

This is a fantastic audiobook from an Australian author. Engaging story, great narration. Highly recommended!

Parts of this story were very intense and there are some horrific war stories included. The end unfortunately, was settled on a simplistic manner. Overall, it was enjoyable.

Just ok

I’m sure some people like sound effects in their audio books but I do not. I HATED the almost constant background noise of traffic and birds. For me it adds nothing but distracts from the story. The story was interesting but failed to draw me in and make me feel invested in the story.

Gritty realism with a great adventure. Loved the female protagonist and found all the characters believable.

Good story, annoying background noises.

For the most part a compelling story. Not stellar but solid. As mentioned in other reviews, the background sounds were annoying.

Story and setting. Sound effects were distracting.

Sound effects in the background were annoying. The performance was good.but I had to over ride the background, mostly an annoying hum.

Sadly, realistic

A good story. Warning to those who listen while driving - background noises startled me throughout. Random beeping horns had me checking my mirrors each time, and evening background insects made me think something was wrong with my engine.
