Not the best

The book was fine but was repeatative. The female lead was childish and immature and the guys were little under developed. It was missing key point that would have made this a great book

amazing story

I loved the story, and overall the narrations were really well done. just sorta wish there was a bigger variation in voices between the main men. I feel it would have given it that ump to put it over the top.
love the story and the plot though, definitely a book I need to physically own.

Amazing

Amazing story and mafia romance that makes me captivated from beginning to end. I would have loved to hear this as a duet reading. That’s the only change I wish to see, but that is a personal preference which is why this book is still 5 stars for me .

Redundant and boring

I think the story line had a lot of potential, but the redundancy in the internal dialogue and conversations is boring. 5 minutes of reading could have been condensed to 1. Cussing is used too much and unnecessarily, like several in one sentence. Narration was poor and the imitation of mens voices is distracting and laughable.

Good book, terrible narrators 😅

Not much to expand on, the narrators all together sucked. Wayyyy over exaggerated the female’s male voice is ear damaging, and the men talks like it’s a comic book for some reason and then lowers his voice even more trying to sound “severe” I think? It sucks. Talk like a regular human being…

Predictable in the best way!

Performance with the voices was a little silly I saw another review say and I have to agree. That was SUPER distracting until about halfway through the book.
The story was great. I expected slightly more spice but that’s only a personal preference. Loved!

Just okay

Has plenty of hype , it’s a bit flat there’s some spice she’s too whiney she repeats herself , skipped through didn’t even finish the last 3 chapters , it’s meh

Almost good

It is SO hard to read this. It's allmoust like the author had a specific word count to finish. So much unnecessary words explaining their thoughts. DNF

I ate this book up. I am a sucker for a strong FMC, and I'm also a sucker for the Bordeux duo in audio. The story line was captivating, and the angst was tangible. The ending was deliciously heart pounding. This duet was a lot of fun. I do wish there was less relationship drama in the second book of this duet because it got me to be attached to the one MMC more than the other three, but I did love seeing this side of Simon because I am obsessed. Somehow these five just work together, and I can't wait to go and backlist the other books in this series!

Many unexpected turns between these four but I’m here for all of it. I’m hooked and ready to continue this series
