Story not great but narration was worse.
The story was a vanilla post apocalyptic tale that lacked the detail to be interesting. Characters were not well developed and the ending was rushed. The narrator read every sentence with the same tone and inflection, and always sounded angry. Whether describing an intimate moment between characters or a brutal fight and shooting, for every sentence read the narrator sounded irritated and angry.

not crazy about it
lots of eye roll moments but over all a good story. worth the listen if you've got time to zone out

Don’t normally write reviews but WOW, I spent a credit on this!
I have over 200 audiobooks in my library, Most are post apocalyptic / dystopian and this is by far the worst. I enjoy the genre and the escape it provides but this was like listening to someone’s first attempt at writing after they grew up watching bad 1930’s gangster movies. Don’t waste a credit.

is this a joke????
Complete garbage!! I bought because of the 5 star ratting. guess I should have looked closer because it was based on only 1 review. Dialog is like from a bad spaghetti western! what a waste of a credit!
