A Wonderful Surprise

There were no slow parts in this fascinating view into high-end restaurants in New York City. The humanity with which Mr. Cecchi-Azzolina reflects on this arc of NYC history and his memories of his role in greeting and serving the great and the good is impressive. For a first-time author to have found his voice in such a vivid and interesting way is quite endearing. Also, his honesty about the challenges of it all reveals that he doesn’t just act charming but is a rare gem of a man.

Take a peek at the truly rich and famous of New York

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I always knew that there were in and outs of the restaurant business I was unaware of. I am now in the know.
