  • #19 Meet Your Community Manager - Running Communities and SoMe w. guest Jason Anguiano
    Jun 6 2022
Introducing a new concept: Meet Your Community Manager. Did you ever wonder how the administrators of the Facebook running groups that you are passionately engaged in, managed to build up the communities, how they are administrating the groups, what thoughts lie behind the communities, what they would like to achieve with the groups and how they time manage managing the groups parallel with their daytime jobs and family life? Then you should listen to this nice talk I had with Jason Anguiano who is creator and manager of the Run to Change Lives together with his wife. This became a talk on how local community engagement in early corona lock-down grew to be a vibrant and thriving Facebook running group with more than 5,000 members with strong commitment and lovely debate atmosphere. It also became a talk about how running can help a troubled mind and anxiety. And it also ended up with lots of laughs. Keep running!
