  • Brooke shares her OCD disorder story | Anxiety Chats S02E69
    Jul 17 2023

From obsessive thoughts to panic attacks, eating disorder and manic episodes – that’s how hard OCD disorder can be. Brooke Miller, a brave OCD warrior and passionate mental health advocate, is here to share her journey.

Brooke is a lovely mom and wife who has been struggling with OCD for a long time and saw this illness impact many aspects of her life.

“The subtypes of OCD disorder can switch, and they can adapt, and they can change. So you can maybe feel like you conquered one subtype and then a new subtype pops up. It really feeds on kind what is on your environment”.

Therapy and family support have been key in her healing path. It’s truly inspiring seeing how hard Brooke works to overcome her challenges. 🧡

  • Anxiety: Things NOT to say | Anxiety Chats S02E68
    Jul 14 2023

When people discover I’m an anxious person, they usually try to help with suggestions – and that’s so sweet. I really appreciate people trying to help me with anxiety.

But some people end up saying things they shouldn't, maybe because they've never dealt with an anxiety disorder or because they don't really want to understand what it's like.

This led me to difficult situations that I want to share with you. They are (unfortunately) sooo relatable…

Things not to say to an anxious person? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please, leave your comments below. 👇🌟

How did you deal with the fear of change during the pandemic? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please, drop your comments. 👇🌟

  • Anxious people and the fear of recording | Anxiety Chats S02E65
    Jul 7 2023

People assume that anxious people can't record themselves due to being socially judged. Yes, maybe social anxiety prevents some of us from doing this – but not everyone struggles with fear of recording!

Starting to record my routine and sharing my anxiety journey has been amazing for me. I found a way to express myself, connect with others who suffer from the same and even offer support to those who need it. Who knows, maybe this gentle approach could help you too. 😊

Are you interested in making videos, but the fear of recording is holding you back? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please, drop your comments. 👇🌟

  • Test anxiety is AWFUL! | Anxiety Chats S02E64
    Jul 5 2023

I had a really tough time with high school exams. My mental health was quite bad when I was at school with the anxiety and agoraphobia and my time seemed to be focused on keeping stable rather than exams and test anxiety.

I remember crying at school from anxiety, feeling overwhelmed and freaking out. But all I got was scolded for "making it harder on the other students”.

"I remember walking up to the school door and crying, like hysterical crying."

I know I had the potential to be an "A" student with the right teaching methods. But the system never supported us – prioritizing my mental health was the best decision I’ve ever made.

How do you cope with your test anxiety? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please, drop your comments. 👇🌟

  • My fear of pregnancy | Anxiety Chats S02E62
    Jun 30 2023

I’ve wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember. But having a baby and the fear of pregnancy, especially when you suffer from severe anxiety, is hard to imagine. I have mental health problems, so having a child is super scary for me.

Not a day goes by I don’t think about having kids, but it’s difficult to see that actually happening due to my OCD, agoraphobia, and emetophobia.

Fear of pregnancy? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please, leave your comments below. 👇🌟
