Health and Wellness Virtuosa Christine Henderson joins the podcast to discuss her transformative journey, from exiting the rat race and overcoming personal health challenges to achieving her vision of health and becoming the founder of Pure Health Culture. Pure Health Culture helps women prioritize their health and wellness and realize positive health outcomes. Not only does Christine coach clients 1:1, but she has created a community of women who prioritize themselves through regular Women’s Wellness Walk and Talks; she hosts an online fitness support group and runs health and wellness workshops.     When’s the last time you gave yourself a few minutes to tune into your body and focus on the present moment sans screens? This is a practice called mindfulness. 

    One of the ways to practice being mindful is by listening to your body and being aware of its sensations, emotions, and needs. This is also called embodiment.

  • Bonus: Why the Recent SCOTUS Decisions Matter, The Impact, and Our Rest Response

    Last week, the Supreme Court dropped some significant decisions on Affirmative Action and the Biden Administration's Student Loan Forgiveness Program that have rocked the nation.

    While we're unaware of all the long-term impacts this will have, we felt called to drop a bonus episode on our "off" week to open up a self-compassionate dialogue about our response to these recent decisions.

    It's powerful to check in during an emotionally overwhelming and unsettling time. As always, we offer some rest ideas we are leaning into that you may want to try, too.
