One of my absolute favourite episodes yet. We talk leadership, femininity, motherhood, miscarriages, business, redefining gender roles, what makes a successful marriage and being a Forbes featured business woman!
Abigail Brown is one of my nearest and dearest friends, we lived with each other at uni and have been friends ever since, more recently i have engaged Abi as my business coach. Abi has been married to her husband Dan for nearly 20 years! Her wedding was actually the first wedding I’d ever attended in our early twenties. Together they have three children and practice conscious parenting.
Abi is one of the Co-founder's of The Simple Folk; sustainable, non-toxic and ethical ‘slow fashion’ for the wild-hearted minimalist.
With an incredible following and community (particularly on Instagram), they have been featured in Forbes, Vogue, People magazine, Hello, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Milk Magazine and more. As they have grown, The Simple Folk has become known not only for ethical fashion and conscious lifestyle but also for empowering women. As well as being female led, they are predominantly female operated and are a part of the change for women collective that champions women and children all over the world.
