About the Creator

Jeffery Deaver is an international number-one bestselling author. His books are sold in 150 countries and have been translated into 25 languages. When you are waiting for the next full length Colter Shaw book, you read what you can get your hands on - and these short stories fit the bill!! Typical Colter. On one job and it in just rolls into another situation - in this case a very bad situation! But because of who he is, Colter Shaw does get out of it, but luckily!! I am enjoying the short stories between the novels. They are short, intense, and very good!! You do want to listen/read if you are a Colter Shaw fan!!

There was nothing that I could say that is negative about this short story. The author is very talented in story development and carried through with an interesting story involving few words.

Though a short story it kept me interested. After finding out about this author I have tried to find more of his books. This is my first book by this author. His descriptions are good that I can see what he’s talking about. The narrator doesn’t just read but adds emphasis to the story & characters.
