This is a great roadmap with lots of examples of how we can lift each other up and examine our own insecurities and biases. Very well done.

Love the idea, but not for me

If you enjoy discussions around feminism, activism, and DE&I, then great! This book will likely be a good fit for you. However, if you’re like me and that’s not your jam, I’d encourage you to pass on this one. I’m a little over halfway through now and while some of the content is encouraging and uplifting, most of the content is focused around the above mentioned politics. While I love the idea of this book and the messaging around GGS, I’m honestly not sure I can finish this book as it’s just too political for my taste and tends to make me stressed rather than encouraged. But again, that’s just me and I may not be in the majority.
