Narrator’s voice fluctuates wildly.

The narrator has a voice with a wide decibel/shrill range such that I have to continually turn the volume up to hear low voices she is doing or normal narration tone, and quickly lower it when she is doing emphatic words or a female or young person’s strident or fearful voice. Even during an otherwise uneventful stretch of narration, her emphatic words hurt my ears and I am again trying to find a middle ground of understanding the low tones and lowering the volume to protect my ears on the higher tones.

Surprisingly captivating

I couldn’t tell you why this book captivate me but it did. As the two storylines start to blend together the book captures a unique blend of horror, thriller and romance

Good story

Not really into vampires story’s but this one was pretty entertaining and intriguing. Had to go back when I got distracted. I didn’t want to miss anything

Slow to start- love the character development

The male lead is so alluring- the female is good as well. Love their dynamic and his true honest feelings

Surprisingly good

I gave up listening in the first chapters, but then decided to give it another try. I’m glad I did!
