Not what I was looking for

I guess if you are looking for a book that covers the psychology of storytelling this is your book. I was not interested in the depth this book was sharing

Gives you something different

So many writing books are aimed at the beginner and rehash the same ideas. The Science of Storytelling looks at things through fresh eyes with excellent illustrative examples from literature and cinema. Ultimately, it takes you deeper into the heart of effective storytelling.

Profound insight about life

Everyone should read this book to plan the story of their life.
Highly recommended especially for young people to help them make life choices that determine who they will be

Vital Addition to Story Structure - a Beautiful synthesis of multidisciplined perspective

This book is now among my top five favorite storytelling resources. If not top three I have always believed storytelling should be approached structurally from a neurological perspective, and although I have my own ideas about a lot of the reasons why this is the case, this book revealed new things to me I had not yet considered And deepened the things I already had.

Really well done. I would love to meet the author someday.

Excellent rendition of a “scientific” text in audiobook form

The reader manages to keep the content entertaining even if the book isn’t a novel. This is also helped by the fact that the book is written in an engaging way! Very informative
