Welcome to their kingdom....

I never thought I'd step foot in Royal Manor again. But four years later, here I am...back to finish my senior year at Royal Hearts Academy.

And forced to face Jace Covington.

My first friend. First crush. First kiss. The one I left behind.

Only—he isn't the same boy I gave my heart to.

This new Jace is as cruel as he is gorgeous. And he's determined to make my life a living hell. Along with the rest of his glorified family and crew of tyrants.

They expect me to worship the ground they walk on like everyone else, but I'd rather eat dirt.

If Jace Covington wants me gone...he'll have to try harder. Because I've never been the kind of girl to play by the rules.

Warning: Royal Hearts Academy is a new adult/high school series of standalones filled with drama, a touch of angst, and boys who are bad to the bone. Contains graphic language and sexual content. Recommended for mature listeners.

I have to read this book without the audio. then I started reading other books and I decided to do audio since I have an hour drive for work. I am totally in love with this book again. the narration on this book was phenomenal. the storyline is really believable, it could really happen and what these kids go through at the beginning is just insanely sad. Liam poor Liam how people can treat people that horribly I will never ever ever understand. I love Jace Jace is just a father figure when he doesn't have to be and he protects his whole family. Dylan I'm so sorry she had to go through what she had to go through with her parents with Jace with Tommy it was completely and utterly insane. how people treat the one supposedly they love, the ones they hate, the ones that have not done a thing to them it's just insanely sad. but this book is one of my most favorite books I have read and I am so glad I decided to read in audio, because I do like to read newer books in audio that I have not read but I saw this book and I was like I haven't read it in a while so let's see what it brings me. I could not have asked for more. I love the people the narrated it, it was perfect in a sense that you got involved in the book you were paying attention to every word that was being said. they were young enough that you could tell that was still high school but old enough to know that they were going through adult situations. I can't wait to read another audio from whoever narrated this book because of how good it was. I would recommend this book to anyone there are triggers do not they're all the time but it does talk about some darker things but not for the whole book. and it has to be part of the book because that is how you learn more and more as the book goes on

in love with this audio

Jace and Dylan were childhood friends. Dylan had to move away and is now back living with her aunt and idiot step cousin Oakley to finish out her senior year. Jace thinks she is the reason why his brother is gone and is determined to break her. He tries to hurt her every chance he gets but victory doesn't feel so great after seeing her hurt. Dylan has no idea why Jace hates her so much. Back story: Liam, Jace's brother, was in love with Dylan and Jace refused to pursue anything with her for his brother's sake when they were younger. Liam claimed her first. He put his feelings aside even though he was in love with her too, but Dylan only had eyes for Jace. After her father moves them for another job over night, Liam passes away. She never knew the full story. And Jace refused her calls when she tried to reach out to him. Years after when she returns, she is finally face to face with the love of her life who hates her. Finding out the truth behind Liam's passing broke me! And her. Can they ever forgive themselves? Ashely does an amazing job with this book. I loved the character dynamics, and the shock factor broke me. I also love how much use Dylan's fist gets in this book. You go girl!!!! Her reactions felt so natural. Narration was really good too. Lila Winters's inflection with Dylan's personality felt so real and natural.

Second Chance Love are always the best!

It’s frustrating when there is so much lack of communication. The reason Jace was mad at Dillon was unbelievable since it came from Tommy’s mouth. It was a good book though. I’m not a huge fan of the female narrator but she’s tolerable. Teddy Hamilton is Ah-mazing!!!!! 😍😍

Not bad

First of I really like the whole series. This was my first time reading a true bully book so it was driving me crazy at times. I agree with some other reviews that Dylan's and Jace's story is not as well developed as the other two couples in the remainder of the series. I also agree with some other review that Dylan was too forgiving at the end. Jace was really cruel at times and he did not grovel enough :D. But overall a good story.

Not as good as the other three in the series
